About the Department

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at DEC aims to produce highly skilled software engineers and IT professionals. Established to meet the growing demands of the IT industry, the department offers a comprehensive B.Tech program that covers the theoretical foundations and practical applications of computing.

Laboratories & Facilities

Programming for Problem Solving Lab: Problem solving techniques using C as a programming language.
C++, Java, Python , Full Stack Web Application etc. Lab: Mastering OOP and other programming languages through classroom and lab demonstrations.
Operating Systems Lab: CPU and Memory Management Techniques, Simulations, Kernel, Shell programming etc.
Computer Networks Lab: Real world network simulations and configurations using Packet Tracers etc.
Database Management Lab: Real hands on Database Servers like MySql, MongoDb etc.
Electronics Device / Electronics Circuit Lab: Various electronic devices and their use in the electronic industry.
Microprocessor and Embedded System Lab: Assembly language programming to understand the functioning of Registers, ALU operations, memory transfer operations, and other controllers.
Data Structure and Computer Graphics Lab: Various Data structures in programming and their real-world applications.
